Remember those times that people told me once I get my first tattoo, I’m going to get addicted and want to get more?
Well.
They were right.
To be fair, I’ve been ruminating on quite a few of these already; I actually went and got a price quote on one of them when I went in to get my dragonfly; I just couldn’t afford both of them.ANYWAY HERE’S MY WISHLIST (AND THEY’RE MOSTLY QUOTES):
- A colored-in sunflower on my right shoulder (to offset the dragonfly on my left)
- “So she had passed her childhood, like a half-wild cat.” across the tops of my feet (from Philip Pullman’s His Dark Materials)
- “i carry your heart with me(i carry it in / my heart)” on my right side on my ribcage, right below where my bra band is usually situated (e.e. cummings)
- “If I look back, I am lost.” on my right shoulder blade (a quote from GRRM’s Game of Thrones I found particularly striking/relevant)
Hah, I just realized I want all of them on the right side of my body…
Strange.
So now I just need
- to find a tattoo parlor in Southeast Utah that doesn’t suck/isn’t majorly sketchy
- a goddamn job once I move out there so I can make some dough to afford them
